Hiking: there are many hiking trails that cross the Conero, allowing you to discover its natural landscapes and historical beauty. For example, you can hike to Monte Conero, the highest peak in the area, or follow the Sentiero del Conero, which takes you along the coast and through the Mediterranean maquis.
Cultural visits: the Conero is rich in history and culture. You can visit the Torre di Guardiadi Portonovo, one of the coastal towers built during the period of the Republic of Ancona, the Camerano Caves, the Sanctuary of Loreto, one of Italy's most important pilgrimage sites, Giacomo Leopardi's house-museum in Recanati, the accordion museum in Castelfidardo, the War Memorial and the Cathedral of Ancona.
Water activities: the Conero coast offers many opportunities for water activities, such as kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling and underwater fishing. You can also rent a boat and sail along the coast, or take a boat trip to see the sea caves, the Two Sisters and hidden coves.
Visit the historic villages: the area around the Conero is characterised by numerous historic villages, such as Sirolo, Numana, Camerano and Offagna (famous for its medieval festival), which offer beautiful views of the sea and surrounding countryside and are rich in history and culture.
